Sudlows enjoyed a fantastic evening at the annual Data Centre Solutions (DCS) Awards on Thursday 16th May, with the team collecting two awards.

The DCS Awards is one of the biggest nights in the Data Centre industry calendar and acknowledges the product designers, manufacturers and suppliers operating in the Data Centre arena.

We are thrilled to have collected the ‘Data Centre Consolidation/Upgrade/Refresh Project of the Year’ for our project for the Science & Technology Facilities Council at their site in Didcot. Due to STFC installing a number of high density servers, Sudlows provided a HD cooling solution that achieves optimum conditions within their Data Centre facility, whilst achieving industry leading energy efficiency.

Associate Director, Sam Wicks also achieved the acclaimed ‘Data Centre Engineer of the Year’ award. Sam is our resident Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) expert whose talents have been recognised previously by winning both the ‘Young Mission Critical Engineer of the Year’ award at the DCD Awards and ‘Technician of the Year’ at the IET Apprentice & Technician Awards.

The DCS award winners are voted for by the public. We would like to thank all who voted for Sudlows in both categories and express our gratitude in being voted for by Data Centre industry experts in two very competitive categories.
