Data Centre Design and Build

Our team of Uptime Institute accredited tier designers are experts in the design and build of data centres, working with you to create a bespoke solution to meet your needs.

We will conduct a full technical design assessment of the proposed data centre facility to ensure that all elements of the design will be fit for purpose, will meet the specification and project objectives, and are compliant with current data centre standards and best practice. Following the design process, our expert team can act as the principal contractors to build your data centre or, if you prefer, work as part of your client team for the data centre build. Whichever option you decide is right for you, the Sudlows team will ensure that your facility is constructed and delivered to the highest standards, and does not deviate from the approved design and installation methods.

Data Centre Design and Build Experts

Combining our data centre design and build expertise, and understanding of the underlying technology enables us to provide independent engineering advice at all stages of a project. This expert knowledge has led us to work with numerous national and international organisations including the BBC, Telefonica and The Co-operative Group.

Our data centre design verification teams make full use of a range of advanced analytical methods, including our own in-house Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), which enables us to simulate, develop and optimise the configuration of a data centre to the highest level of accuracy.

Using industry-leading simulation technologies, we ensure that even before a facility has begun construction, the performance of its cooling architecture has been modelled at millions of locations and verified to be exactly within specification.

We will act as your appointed data centre design and build specialist, and throughout the project will monitor, verify, critique and approve a contractor’s technical submittals and drawings, identifying deviations or performance limiting factors where they exist, in order to mitigate risk.

Our highly qualified team of Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designers and experienced Project Managers work closely with your project stakeholders to create a structured and detailed programme that will deliver the commercial and technical objectives of the data centre design and build.

With exacting planning and coordination, we will ensure data centre projects run as expected against the delivery programme and are aligned with project budgets. This supports the envisaged business case and in turn, delivers the anticipated commercial benefits.
