Sudlows’ Festive Season of Giving
This festive season we have been busy working with charities and organisations to bring festive cheer and help to local communities in need.
To kickstart the Christmas season, we took part in Christmas Jumper Day to help raise money for Save the Children, which is a charity to help fight poverty around the world.
Our Facilities Management Team visited Ashton Old Baths to donate a range of selection boxes and gifts to their Christmas charity collection in aid of Infinity Initiatives C.I.C!
In total, Ashton Old Baths collected a total of 170+ selection boxes and 60 gifts for teenagers in the local community.
In addition to the visit to Ashton Old Baths, we visited Tameside Hospital to donate a tree complete with decorations ready for their official Christmas light switch on event the week after!
In our Manchester office, we set-up a charity tuck shop which sold a range of sweets and treats, in total we managed to make a total of £400 for Francis House Children’s Hospice which is a charity we have supported for many years.
Finally, this past month we have also been collecting a range of food and essential items for Oldham Foodbank to help those in need over the Christmas holidays in our local community.
Through the generosity of our staff, we managed to fill six shopping trolleys with urgently needed and essential items alongside some Christmas gifts and treats.
We are very grateful to be able to contribute to our local and wider community through charitable events and fundraisers and we hope 2024 can be an even better year!
A big well done to all involved!
