Sudlows are delighted to announce that we, along with Airedale, have been named finalists for the ‘Mission Critical Innovation’ category at this year’s DCD Awards for a collaborative data centre project.

The DCD awards are a highly prestigious celebration of the latest innovations and talent in the data centre industry.

The Mission Critical Innovation category is awarded to the entrant that has made the largest contribution in shaping the next generation of cutting edge data centre solutions.

The entry combines the mechanical knowledge of Sudlows’ Critical Infrastructure team, led by Sam Wicks, Associate Director, Sudlows, with Airedale’s ACIS™ Flux which monitors and controls water treatment, water storage and water distribution for adiabatic cooling units in a data centre.

Managing Director of Critical Infrastructures at Sudlows, Andy Hirst said:

“It’s great to see the innovative work, created by both teams at Sudlows and Airedale, being recognised across the industry, and Sudlows are thrilled to be also named as finalists in this technical category.”

“We are honoured to be acknowledged for our innovation in the field of data centre controls and proud to be a finalist for this award”, added Paul Stringfellow, Commercial Controls Technical Project Manager at Airedale.

The awards will be presented at a black tie gala dinner on the 6th December at the Royal Lancaster London.
