Sudlows was established in 1912 and we have been working within Data Centre environments for over 20 years. Today, Sudlows, along with our industry peers are celebrating International Data Centre Day.

This international day of recognition for the Data Centre industry sets to create awareness of the industry and inspire the next generation of Data Centre Engineers by sharing our unique Data Centre stories and projects.

Recently, Sudlows have completed a very unique Data Centre design and build project at Ashton Old Baths in Greater Manchester. This project is within the rejuvenated Grade II listed Victorian public bath house. This exciting project had its challenges due to the listed status of the building, meaning that the structure of the building’s shell could not be altered. Sudlows’ Engineers were able to overcome these challenges by designing a modular facility which not only keeps the building in its original state, but is also very aesthetically pleasing. The new Data Centre recently won the prestigious ‘Data Center Architecture Award’ at the DCD Awards.
