Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically strong Project Manager to lead the successful execution of structured cabling infrastructure projects within hyperscale data centre environments. This role requires full lifecycle project ownership — from planning and resource coordination to installation oversight and client communication. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing structured cabling or ICT infrastructure projects at scale and be confident working in fast-paced, mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of structured cabling projects across hyperscale data centre builds, ensuring timelines, quality, and safety standards are met.
  • Plan and manage project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and resource assignments in coordination with internal teams and subcontractors.
  • Supervise the on-site execution of copper (Cat6/Cat6a) and fibre optic (SM/MM, MPO) installations, testing, and commissioning.
  • Review technical documentation including design drawings, cable schedules, patching schemes, and containment layouts.
  • Monitor progress against project milestones, track site readiness, and adjust plans to address any changes or delays.
  • Conduct regular site walks, HSE reviews, and installation quality audits to enforce compliance with standards and best practices.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients on assigned projects — managing expectations, resolving issues, and ensuring clear communication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation such as daily reports, redline drawings, test results, and handover packs.
  • Coordinate procurement of materials and logistics in collaboration with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Support change management processes, including scope modifications, variations, and commercial reviews.
  • Identify and support business development opportunities within current project scopes or client relationships.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to support proposal development, pricing, and technical presentations as needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5+ years of structured cabling or ELV infrastructure project management experience.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale or hyperscale data centre infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of structured cabling systems (Cat6/Cat6a, fibre, MPO), containment, and testing procedures.
  • Excellent project planning and team coordination skills.
  • Proficiency with project tools such as MS Project, Excel, and Gantt charts.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, including client and contractor engagement.
  • Familiarity with TIA/EIA, ANSI, and BICSI standards.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites across India (and occasionally abroad if required).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
  • BICSI RCDD or equivalent structured cabling design certification.
  • Experience delivering projects for hyperscale clients
  • Experience working in a global or multi-national delivery environment.
