This week marks the 16th annual National Apprenticeship Week which was set up to celebrate apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on individuals, businesses, and the wider economy.

The theme for this year’s Apprenticeship Week is “Skills for Life” which highlights how apprenticeship programmes help individuals develop their skills and knowledge to progress in their career.

The National Apprenticeship Week event hosts various different events throughout the weeklong celebration to help create awareness about apprenticeships. In addition, many different businesses and employers share apprenticeship stories to highlight the positive impact the apprenticeship scheme has on both the individual and the employer.

Last year, Sudlows were named an “Outstanding Employer” by Oldham College for our continued commitment to the development to skills and futures through the apprenticeship scheme.

Keep an eye on our LinkedIn and Twitter accounts this week to hear some of our Apprentice’s stories.
