It was a great opportunity for us to showcase our works with our partners Interserve. This was the first joint show for us here at Sudlows and we are happy to say it was a huge success. Sudlows appointed to Welsh National Procurement Framework
Posted by Ellie Kelsall on September 16, 2016We have been appointed one of only two national suppliers to provide Structured Cabling services to the Welsh National Procurement Service (NPS), following a comprehensive tender selection process. Andy Hanlon, our Enterprise Services Director added, “This new national framework is a significant opportunity for the Enterprise Services team at Sudlows to deliver outstanding connectivity installations projects across the critical national institutions and buildings throughout Wales.” The NPS for Wales was set up in November 2013 with the aim of providing over £1bn of goods and services, or 20-30% of the annual budget for the Welsh Government.Read full article
Sudlows Lands Data Centre Cooling Project at Manchester Airp...
Posted by Ellie Kelsall on August 24, 2016Sudlows, have been commissioned by Manchester Airport to deliver a number of technical upgrades to its existing cooling infrastructure. Sudlows mechanical team have been busy installing a series of upgrades to the airport’s data centre infrastructure, including a new cooling system that will deliver carbon savings of over 31,000kg of CO2, every year, compared to the previous legacy equipment. Stuart Gaffney, Project Manager for Manchester Airport added; “Manchester is one of the leading UK airports and this new mechanical upgrade to two of our existing data centres will deliver a highly resilient and energy efficient cooling infrastructure to our facilities.
