Due to the continued expansion of our highly successful specialised engineering company, including our award winning data centre design and build business, we are looking for a Project Co-ordinator to work on projects within the Operations department.

Role Purpose

To provide Document Control and Administrative support to the Project Lead and Project Team in a timely manner and to a high level of accuracy and presentation

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • establishing an efficient and effective handover process for the final stages of a project
  • ownership of the project handover process
  • liaison with Sub-Contractors to ensure timely delivery of the above
  • basic commercial duties in support of the project teams
  • quality inspections and audits
  • collation, validation and issue of O&M’s to include:
    • Description of the works
    • Details of each installed item including Manufacturer, model number and any sub-type information such as colour
    • Details of where the item is installed. Either refer to drawings that have this information or include a textural description
    • A textural description of the operation information or reference to manufacturers’ literature
    • Relevant drawings
    • Relevant Test and Commissioning information
    • Manufacturers Operation and Maintenance information, product data sheets, safety data sheets or drawings
    • Manufacturer and supplier contact details
    • Guarantee / Warranty information
    • A maintenance matrix
    • Asset register with financial information included
    • Product life expectancy (dependent upon usage)
  • liaison with Sub-Contractors to ensure timely delivery of the above
  • basic commercial duties in support of the project teams
  • quality inspections and audits

Full training given in commercial and quality duties

Personal Specification

Skills & Experience:

  • Good level of competency in Microsoft Office
  • Good communication skills at staff and management level
  • Above average organisational skills
  • Experience working in the construction and or data centre industry would be an advantage
  • Full UK driving licence
