Sudlows Achieve Elite Uptime Institute ATD Status
Data centre professionals at Sudlows have been awarded Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer status, a prestigious certificate that, until now, had only been achieved by just eight other data centre professionals in the UK.
Global Services Director, Andy Hirst, and Senior Specialist Projects Manager, Darren Taylor, have both been awarded the Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Designer certification by completing a world renowned intensive training course held in Hong Kong.
This elite training certification assessed practical and technical knowledge of data centre design, technical equipment and facility resilience. This is great news for all our clients as it means that by combining immense field experience and training, Sudlows can further enhance high level data centre designs for clients according to the latest Uptime Institute Tier Standards.
Chris Dummett, Commercial Director at Sudlows, commented that;

It clearly demonstrates, not just to the UK data centre market, but internationally, that Sudlows is now ranked as one of the best data centre design and build companies operating today”.
The Accredited Tier Designer course is independently administered by the Uptime Institute and is intended only for licensed Professional Engineers with a design management role for data centres and similar technology projects. The program provides the multiple-disciplinary concepts necessary to achieve project design objectives based on the Uptime Institute Tier Standards criteria.
